Why use drones in construction?

Roof inspections

If you have a leaking roof that isn’t easily accessible with a conventional ladder then a drone could be the perfect solution. Using a drone could save you time and money and is a much safer option than scaffolding or access machinery, mitigating the risks of working at height  .

Our Mavic Pro drone is the perfect UAV for roof inspections. It allows us to fly close to any potential problem areas to capture high resolution images which can be enlarged for a great visual perspective on any issues.

As the client you’re able to view the flight live on screen and then review any photos and footage taken immediately after we land. We transfer all photos and video to you straight after the job is complete.

"We used Heliexpert for a roofing issue on a grade 2 listed building. They were quick, professional and the results were amazing. Would highly recommend their services"

Before and after shots of extensions, new builds etc.

New builds, extensions, landscaping, the list of potential uses for drones to showcase your work as a builder is endless. We can capture pre and post construction shots as well as progress shots depending on your needs. This is not only great for your website and marketing material but also for your client.

Construction progress reports

Progress shots can be edited together with date stamps on each to show construction over time. The same principle can be applied to material stockpile monitoring and management.

Site security & perimeter surveys

We can quickly and efficiently survey the perimeter for any breaches or potential weak areas. This is especially useful on larger sites where visual checks of the site perimeter can take up valuable time and manpower. Materials and machinery within the site are monitored in relation to roads, paths and other public access areas.
